Welcome to Le Manoir de Beauregard with its stunning elevated riverside location at the edge of the ancient village of Cunault in the Loire valley. This gracious historic house sits between the banks of the Loire and the picturesque wooded limestone slope. With terraced grounds and oak forest offering protection from the west wind; the Manoir commands spectacular views of the river and surrounding countryside from its rooms, terrace and gardens.

Built in the middle of the XVth century by a local lord, the house was enlarged at the beginning of the XVIIth century and again in 1908 when the manorial east wing and terrace looking over the valley were built. In the twentieth century it was the residence of a Parisian artist whose family lived here for two generations.

The Manoir is just 12 km from Saumur; ideally situated as a base to explore the Loire valley. It is also a perfect place to relax; in the salon with its panoramic bay window views, on the wide river-facing terrace; or in the grounds where we have a beautiful swimming pool, pool house / games room and extensive gardens.

Sue and Jez would be delighted to welcome you to enjoy our hospitality; and the comfort and charm of our handsome traditional home.
